I decided to try the Netflix free trial which also includes the ability to stream certain movies from their website onto your tv through Xbox Live. Overall I'm impressed with the simplicity and quality of the xbox live portion of Netflix.
There is a section on their website called watch instantly. These are the movies that you can stream through your tv or on your computer if you want. You can add a certain title to a list and that gets added to a Netflix que on your xbox. The selection is solid with more than enough titles to keep you busy, although bear in mind that a lot of the newer titles aren't available for streaming. It's too bad that not all of their titles are available for streaming, but its understandable.
The stream quality is very good and the interruptions occur once in a great while, but that may have more to do with my internet connection.

Are they offering any tv shows to be screened. I know Netflix offers some tv via the computer. I was curious if they're offering it through the xbox.
They do offer a fair amount of TV. I've been watching a lot of The Office and 30 Rock lately.
