Gears of War 2 Light

Apparently Epic Games has been paying attention to all of the heat mature games have been taking lately, so they've decided to put an optional filter on the game. I can't blame them, its one way of having your cake and eating it to. You still get to keep the gore, but it also gets the parents and politicians to quit their belly aching. It completely removes the foul language in the game, and replaces the over the top blood spray with sparks. Yes sparks. I wish I was kidding.

The concept I suppose looks promising on paper, but what's too stop a kid from turning off the filter. I know that whats I use to do with mature N64 games. That is unless, there's a parental password for it or something.

The entire concept seems pretty goofy in my opinion, but if it keeps the other side happy, then by all means. All I'm saying is that this is a game that was never meant to be censored. Have you ever tried watching a Quentin Tarantino movie on basic cable. Yeah, no thank you.
