The first Condemned was a surprise cult classic on the 360. It was a dark, morbid game with shades of Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Seven thrown in for good measure. The game pitted you against serial killers, psychotic meth heads, and homicidal bums. It really was a virtual nightmare. I loved the intensity of the experience and have eagerly been awaiting a sequel. Finally that day has come.
I have yet to play the game, but it looks like its going to improve on its predecessor in a big way. The melee combat the game is famous for has been greatly improved with new combos and environmental kills. For example, you can crack an opponent over the head with a two by four, and then grab him and throw him head first into a TV. Sounds like a good time to me.
