Guitar Hero III

My friend recently bought Guitar Hero III for the 360 and we've been rocking out to that for the past few weeks. The core gameplay has pretty much remained unchanged since the first one, but the creators have gone and added the option of going online to face challengers. This adds a lot of replay value to the game. It never really gets old watching somebody trash talk through a guitar solo only to get their asses handed to them.

The track listing this time around is just as solid as the last outing. They really know how to pick their music. You have classics like Paint it Black by The Rolling Stones, Sunshine of Your Love by Cream, and Paranoid by Ozzy. The majority of the lesser known songs are also good and even some of the ones I wasn't so hot about at first have grown on me overtime.

So, If you're still craving some Guitar Hero, and the second one has left you wanting more then you really can't go wrong with this purchase. On the other hand, if you think that Guitar Hero has overstayed its welcome then this won't do much to change your minds. For the most part, GTH III is more of the same, but for me and many other fans, that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
