Bleach: Shattered Blade for the Wii

Bleach is the newest fighting game for the wii. It's a two player game that resembles Mortal Kombat. There are several different modes one can play, with a ton of unlockable content. The story mode, which is a mini series for each of the characters in the game is th best way to get to know each character's different abilities, as you beat each story more content and characters to play are unlocked. You can play arcade mode, which is 8 battles in a row against the computer, or versus mode, where you can battle a friend, the computer, or watch the computer battle itself.

The controls for the game are great, the wii mote takes this from just another fighting game to an interactive work out. There is a multitude of combinations that can be done by pressing different buttons as you slash stab and jab with the controller. They make good use of the nun chuck too. It has to be shaken to charge a special attack, and the buttons on it have to be pressed to execute the special attack and a few other maneuvers.

I give this game high marks it's great for more than 2 people too, because after a few fights you need a rest.

I remember how some of my friends would bash their nintendo when they lost, think the wii's physical controls will amplify emotions?
