Since we were talking about RPG earlier today I thought I'd throw this article in the mix. It's about a game competition in the UK. The winning game definitely sounds like something I'd want to play. Although I have to say the systems better start making a universal guitar controller for all these games. I am not going to have a different conroller for every single game that comes out. That's just not practical. As it is I'm trying to justify buying the wireless guitar hero controllers, but then what would I do with the corded ones? | ||

I am curious whether they make more money on the software or the hardware? I am gonna go on a limb and say hardware judging by the way that RedOctane handled TAC's 3rd party wireless guitars by making them non-functional for Guitar Hero II without warning.
If that is the case, don't expect there to be a universal one until people stop buying the games because of that reason.
It would be nicer in my opinion of RedOctane or whomever produces said guitar controller work with the different platforms the software will be released for and have adapters for each platform for the guitar controller. 1 guitar, many adapters. Almost like real life, like whoa!
I think you found the flaw right there
"It would be nicer"
I don't see too many companies doing things to be nice
