There's a new Madden game in town and word has it that its a triumphant return to form for the series. The Madden games of the past couple years have been stale without much in the way of new material. I have heard from quite a few people that this is a vast improvement over these previous installments. I'll definitely give it a rental, however, I haven't really been into Madden games for quite some time now. I mean you can only make so many improvements to a tired formula. I'll be holding out for Halo 3 and Bioshock.

Madden got WAY too complicated for its own good. I know the folks over at EA are always trying to out do themselves but as you mentioned, you can only sell more of the same for so many years in a row.
Bring back the suchandsuch '93, the golden era of EA's sports games. Maybe a lil NFL Blitz by Midway while we're at it heh.
